Privacy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Disque is made by one independent developer. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no third-party scripts, and embeds nothing from another origin. Fonts and images are served from this domain. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

On your phone

Your name, your discs and collections, your settings and your server details stay on your phone. Your server password is kept in the iOS keychain.

If you join the beta

Joining happens on Apple's side, through a TestFlight public link. This site has no form and collects no email address or name, so there is no mailing list and nothing for us to keep.

Your music server

If you connect a Navidrome server, the app talks only to that server, using the address and login you give it. We never receive them.

Stem separation

When you split a song into stems, the app uploads that song to our own server so it can be processed. It goes to stems.disque.stream, is held in Cloudflare R2 storage, and a GPU on Modal does the splitting. The uploaded song is deleted once it has been split, and the stems are deleted within one day.

To hold each install to three songs a day, the app registers a random identifier that is not tied to you. With it we keep the identifier, a hash of the token it registers with, the date it registered, the IP address it registered from, and how many songs it used each day. These are used only to apply the daily limit.

Lyrics and release dates

To show lyrics, the app sends the song's title, artist, album and length to LRCLIB (lrclib.net). To show album anniversaries, it sends album and artist names to MusicBrainz (musicbrainz.org). Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.

Beta testing

While the app is in beta, Apple shares crash reports and the feedback you choose to send with the developer through TestFlight.

This website's host

This site is hosted on Vercel. As the host, Vercel processes the technical request data needed to serve the page, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy and data processing agreement.
